Mapawa Nature Park is a 2,500 hectare property that being looked after, protected, conserved and well managed also operated by Emannuel Pelaez Ranch Incorporated (EPRI). It is 5 km distance from the main highy way of Cugman, Cagayan de Oro city and is 2.5 km away from the Garden of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village.

Mapawa Nature Park offer activities such as: Horseback Riding P200/ hr., P125/ 30mins., P100/ 15mins. I paid P35 – 2 round around the small area just to experience how to ride a horse. My horse name was Flor, such a sweet horse she didn’t let me fall over.
Swimming Pool P75 per person, Zipline P325 per person, Camping P100 per person (minimum 10 persons, entrance fee exclusive), River Trek package P1,200 per person (minimum 5 persons) package includes: entrance fee, packed lunch and bottled water package activities such as water slide(20ft.), Body rappel (65ft.), Jump(25ft.). Accomodation P650 per person (free breakfast).
Mapawa Nature Park isn’t so easy to access by transportation, can be access by motorcycle(habal-habal) but would be convenient if you rent a car, jeepney or taxi. The park is open from 7am to 5pm most days daily, park closes before night fall due to lack of lamp post around the area.
